The United States presidential election of November 2021, held between November 11, 2021, was the seventieth U.S. presidential election. The incumbent President [[Howard Elkridge]] declined to seek re-election amid low polling numbers and weak party support. Former President [[Cabin]] ran for and won the Libertarian-Republican Party nomination. He selected former Senator Jose Smith from Puerto Rico.

They faced [[Malcolm]] The senior Senator from [[Dixie]] who had selected [[Jeb]] as his running mate on the Global Labour side. This election was notable as all major party candidates were from the state of Dixie. Due to weak support for the [[Libertarian-Republican Party]] Cabin tried to separate himself from the Elkridge Presidency and campaign on maintaining the status quo. Malcolm campaigned on change and ending the Libertarian-Republican dominance in the White House.

Malcolm won the election by closely winning his home state of [[Dixie]]. He received 14 electoral votes to Cabin's 11. This election marked the end of over one year of the LRP holding the White House.

The United States presidential election of November 2021, held between November 11, 2021, was the seventieth U.S. presidential election. The incumbent President [[Howard Elkridge]] declined to seek re-election amid low polling numbers and weak party support. Former President [[Cabin]] ran for and won the Libertarian-Republican Party nomination. He selected former Senator Jose Smith from Puerto Rico.

They faced [[Malcolm]] The senior Senator from [[Dixie]] who had selected [[Jeb]] as his running mate on the Global Labour side. This election was notable as all major party candidates were from the state of Dixie. Due to weak support for the [[Libertarian-Republican Party]] Cabin tried to separate himself from the Elkridge Presidency and campaign on maintaining the status quo. Malcolm campaigned on change and ending the Libertarian-Republican dominance in the White House.

Malcolm won the election by closely winning his home state of [[Dixie]]. He received 14 electoral votes to Cabin's 11. This election marked the end of over one year of the LRP holding the White House.

== Early Life and Education ==
Tedd Ddet was born in Fyreburg, Maine on May 11th, 1975. After graduating high school with top marks, he pursued a mechanical engineering doctorate at Boston University. He graduated at the age of 24, performing relativey well compared to his peers. He worked as a materials engineer in various aerospace companies for 20 years, starting in 1999. He left his current company at the time, SpaceX, for higher education in 2016 to earn a doctorate in law. After graduating with a majors degree in 2020, he ran for his first political office. Outside of politics, he is a staunch lover of invention, creating various machines and contraptions for his own enjoyment and convenience. Of course, most of the time they end up completely useless, as most inventions do. However, he once managed to program a neural network to spit out political speeches that were both logical, realistic, and meaningful. He was so touched by this, that he decided to start thinking about getting into politics. He doesn't have a wife, as he is still looking for "the one."

== Early Career ==
Ddet first entered the political world on January 30th, 2020, and was recruited by [[James C. Order]] to be one of the founding members of the [[American Liberal Party]], now known as the [[American Liberal Coalition]]. He was made a member of the Liberal Party's original National Committee, and later became the Vice Chair, after both [[John Darby]] and [[Bruce Hill]] stepped down. It is now when he starts pursuing political office.

== Experience Being a Representative ==
After Darby's unexpected resignation from public office, Ddet immediately decided to run for his district, District 5 of the [[North]], and became part of the Liberal Party's first official candidacies, along with founder, and at the time, Chair, Order. His only opponent was Independent [[Yimir]], who wasn't new to politics, but she had taken a long hiatus before running in this race. Both put up a strong fight in this race, but ultimately Tedd won with almost 55% of the vote. During this time, Tedd was learning the ins and outs of Congress, which might explain the reason why he didn't submit bills during the 32 days in the House. However, he did have a near-perfect voting record, voting on all but one bill that was on the house floor.

== As a Senator ==
Ddet, after gaining political experience in the House, chose to run for the [[North|Northern]] [[Senate]] Class II Seat, which at the time was held by [[Thanos May]]. This election, he had a little more competition to beat. He had the incumbent, Thanos, and Former President [[LOTR]]. However, Thanos dropped out the day voting opened, which left disgraced former [[President of the United States|President]] LOTR and Ddet, a representative from a special election. Most polls showed LOTR winning by a very small margin, and both debated hard, campaigned heavily, and received many endorsements from large names in politics. But on March 9, the results were in. Ddet had won with 47% of the vote, LOTR with 42%, and Thanos getting a small 10%. After swearing in, he was selected by his caucus to be Majority Leader. On June 5th 2020, he was voted PPT of the Senate, after the previous PPT [[April]] had resigned. Akin to his time in the House, he has missed only one vote on the floor. During his tenure as Senator, he has introduced 3 pieces of legislation: The Restoring America's Farms Act, the Healthcare Confirmation Resolution, and the EWAA.

== American Liberal Leadership ==
Since its founding, Tedd Ddet has been a member of the American Liberal National Committee (ALNC). From its founding date of February 2, 2020, to February 13, 2020, he was a regular member of the ALNC. When [[Bruce Hill]] resigned as Vice Chair of the American Liberal Party on February 10, the National Committee voted to make him Vice Chair. He served as Vice Chair until the next party leadership elections. He became Director of the Coalition on April 4, after the ALNC unanimously voted to make him Director, succeeding former Chair and founder of the party James C. Order. After his one-month term as Director ended, he chose not to seek re-election and instead voted for [[Arkenstone]] to become the next Director of the ALC.

Formerly the political home of the [[Communist Party]], the North was recognized as being predominantly left wing, having supported the [[Progressive Party]], the [[Communist Party]], the [[Labor Party|Labor]] and later on the [[Social Democratic Party]], before the resignation of Governor Tedd Ddet and the rise of right-wing figures such as [[Pepper Potts]] and [[One-Eyed Jack]] moved it for a time into toss-up state, at one point possessing a [[Libertarian-Republican Party]] majority in the Delegation. Recently, Left-wing politics have returned to be the dominant force in Northern Politics, with the resignation of Pepper Potts and Tedd Ddet from the Governorship and Lieutenant Governorship respectively wiping out all right-wing presence in the state entirely.

== Early Life and Education ==
Tedd Ddet was born in Fyreburg, Maine on May 11th, 1975. After graduating high school with top marks, he pursued a mechanical engineering doctorate at Boston University. He graduated at the age of 24, performing relativey well compared to his peers. He worked as a materials engineer in various aerospace companies for 20 years, starting in 1999. He left his current company at the time, SpaceX, for higher education in 2016 to earn a doctorate in law. After graduating with a majors degree in 2020, he ran for his first political office. Outside of politics, he is a staunch lover of invention, creating various machines and contraptions for his own enjoyment and convenience. Of course, most of the time they end up completely useless, as most inventions do. However, he once managed to program a neural network to spit out political speeches that were both logical, realistic, and meaningful. He was so touched by this, that he decided to start thinking about getting into politics. He doesn't have a wife, as he is still looking for "the one."

== Early Career ==
Ddet first entered the political world on January 30th, 2020, and was recruited by [[James C. Order]] to be one of the founding members of the [[American Liberal Party]], now known as the [[American Liberal Coalition]]. He was made a member of the Liberal Party's original National Committee, and later became the Vice Chair, after both [[John Darby]] and [[Bruce Hill]] stepped down. It is now when he starts pursuing political office.

== Experience Being a Representative ==
After Darby's unexpected resignation from public office, Ddet immediately decided to run for his district, District 5 of the [[North]], and became part of the Liberal Party's first official candidacies, along with founder, and at the time, Chair, Order. His only opponent was Independent [[Yimir]], who wasn't new to politics, but she had taken a long hiatus before running in this race. Both put up a strong fight in this race, but ultimately Tedd won with almost 55% of the vote. During this time, Tedd was learning the ins and outs of Congress, which might explain the reason why he didn't submit bills during the 32 days in the House. However, he did have a near-perfect voting record, voting on all but one bill that was on the house floor.

== As a Senator ==
Ddet, after gaining political experience in the House, chose to run for the [[North|Northern]] [[Senate]] Class II Seat, which at the time was held by [[Thanos May]]. This election, he had a little more competition to beat. He had the incumbent, Thanos, and Former President [[LOTR]]. However, Thanos dropped out the day voting opened, which left disgraced former [[President of the United States|President]] LOTR and Ddet, a representative from a special election. Most polls showed LOTR winning by a very small margin, and both debated hard, campaigned heavily, and received many endorsements from large names in politics. But on March 9, the results were in. Ddet had won with 47% of the vote, LOTR with 42%, and Thanos getting a small 10%. After swearing in, he was selected by his caucus to be Majority Leader. On June 5th 2020, he was voted PPT of the Senate, after the previous PPT [[April]] had resigned. Akin to his time in the House, he has missed only one vote on the floor. During his tenure as Senator, he has introduced 3 pieces of legislation: The Restoring America's Farms Act, the Healthcare Confirmation Resolution, and the EWAA.

== American Liberal Leadership ==
Since its founding, Tedd Ddet has been a member of the American Liberal National Committee (ALNC). From its founding date of February 2, 2020, to February 13, 2020, he was a regular member of the ALNC. When [[Bruce Hill]] resigned as Vice Chair of the American Liberal Party on February 10, the National Committee voted to make him Vice Chair. He served as Vice Chair until the next party leadership elections. He became Director of the Coalition on April 4, after the ALNC unanimously voted to make him Director, succeeding former Chair and founder of the party James C. Order. After his one-month term as Director ended, he chose not to seek re-election and instead voted for [[Arkenstone]] to become the next Director of the ALC.

The November 2020 United States House of Representatives elections were held from November 6th through November 8th, 2020. Representatives were chosen from all 18 districts across the 4 states. The Left-Wing Progress Caucus, consisting of the [[Social Democratic Party]], the [[United Left]], and the [[Global Labour Party]], and which was renamed to the Unity Caucus after the election, maintained their supermajority from before the election. Upon the opening of the session, [[Speaker of the United States House of Representatives|Speaker]] [[Rose McAlister]] was re-elected to the office of the Speaker. The United Left broke off of the Unity Caucus after the election, and formed the United Left Caucus with their four members. The one [[Libertarian Party|Libertarian]] elected, [[Soren Dillinger]], is a member of the Unity Caucus. The race originally started as a two-man race between Elkridge and SteB and the political parties and pundits were gearing up for another close election before April Kennedy the independent Representative announced their candidacy for President with former Vice Presidential candidate Rose McAlister from the March 2021 Presidential Election. A few days before the main debate and campaigning took place a report was released which showed SteB trying to merge tickets with Elkridge in an attempt to prevent a contingent election. This lead to Libertarian-Republicans to take an offensive and pin the controversy as a subversion of democracy which leads SteB to rebut back claiming it was Elkridge all along who attempted a merger. The entire controversy showed a drop in support for both candidates and allowed for April to move up as a serious candidate in the running.

The three campaigns of this election each brought something different when campaigning, in the beginning of the race many political pundits thought that the April/Rose ticket would throw all of its resources to its homes state of Jefferson in an attempt to head to a contingent election. But after the merger leak, they proceed to campaign in all states. Senator Elkridge campaigned in Dixie and the North the most trying to win the mandate in case of a contingent while leading in Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. April tried to score victories in their home state of Jefferson while winning Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico turned out to be one of the most toss-up states and again another key factor in deciding the Presidential Election just as in the previous election.

Unlike the previous presidential election, not all states had winner-take-all systems in place. Between this election and the previous, Dixie repealed its proportional allocation allowing all 6 of its Electoral Votes to be given to the winner. All other states were, however, proportional. == Aftermath ==

In the wake of his defeat, SteB colluded with the then Governor of Puerto Rico [[Dallas]] to try to swing its electoral votes to the SteB/Drunk ticket ensuring a contingent election and giving the opening for SteB to win. This plan was leaked to the press and lead to Governor SteB's impeachment and resignation and helped end the Social Democratic Party after a series of losses. The race originally started as a two-man race between Elkridge and SteB and the political parties and pundits were gearing up for another close election before April Kennedy the independent Representative announced their candidacy for President with former Vice Presidential candidate Rose McAlister from the March 2021 Presidential Election. A few days before the main debate and campaigning took place a report was released which showed SteB trying to merge tickets with Elkridge in an attempt to prevent a contingent election. This lead to Libertarian-Republicans to take an offensive and pin the controversy as a subversion of democracy which leads SteB to rebut back claiming it was Elkridge all along who attempted a merger. The entire controversy showed a drop in support for both candidates and allowed for April to move up as a serious candidate in the running.

The three campaigns of this election each brought something different when campaigning, in the beginning of the race many political pundits thought that the April/Rose ticket would throw all of its resources to its homes state of Jefferson in an attempt to head to a contingent election. But after the merger leak, they proceed to campaign in all states. Senator Elkridge campaigned in Dixie and the North the most trying to win the mandate in case of a contingent while leading in Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. April tried to score victories in their home state of Jefferson while winning Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico turned out to be one of the most toss-up states and again another key factor in deciding the Presidential Election just as in the previous election.

==Founding==

The American Liberal Party was initially founded by [[James Order]], [[John Darby]], [[Bruce Hill]], [[Tedd Ddet]] and [[MediocreLucca]]. These five made up the original ALNC with [[James Order]] as the Director and [[John Darby]] as the Vice Director. It was created due to the impending death of the [[Labor Party]] to provide the public with an alternative left-wing party in the American political system. They quickly began gaining ground in terms of membership when [[John Darby]] took a sudden leave of public life. This left [[Bruce Hill]] with the position of Vice Director. As they were gearing up for the federal elections, the ALP began making up ground converting current members of legislative bodies and winning special elections.

==American Liberal Coalition==

Under a review of the party constitution, the Director at the time, [[James Order]], made amendments to make the Party a coalition of three distinct caucuses. This occurred during the April state election. The three caucuses became the Libertarian Caucus, Moderate Caucus and Progressive Caucus. After the departure of [[James Order]] the Libertarian Caucus folded.
