John Aylette Fincham is a Dixie politician and a member of the Great Society Party. He has served in multiple roles, and also works in the media industry. His most major role was serving as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Life
Early Life
John was born in the North, in the region of New Jersey. He was born to his father, Weldon Fincham, and his mother, Elizabeth Fincham. As a child, he was interested in politics, frequently doing research on the subject. While on a trip to Salem, Massachusetts, he met and befriended Knox Denbrough. In 5th grade, John moved to Dixie, specifically the region of North Carolina, due to his father having inherited Fincham Castle, which is located there. During high school, he took political science and criminal justice, along with public speaking.

College
Upon graduating high school, John moved back to New Jersey, where he attended Princeton University. While there he studied law and political science. He received the following:

Bachelor of Arts in Law;

Master's in Political Science;

After graduating from college, he moved back to Dixie, where he currently is working towards his Doctorate in Political Science at the University of North Carolina. During this time, his parents died, leaving him Fincham Castle.

Joining the Great Society Party
Upon returning to Dixie, John joined the Great Society Party. When he joined, he was reunited with Knox Denbrough, who at the time was serving as a Representative. He also, when joining, met Thanos May, who was, at the time, Speaker of the House, and Great Society Party Chair.

Political Career
In November of 2025, John announced his candidacy for General Assembly for Dixie District 2, and for Representative for Dixie District 2. He was unopposed in both.

First Term in the General Assembly
Upon joining the General Assembly, John met Mega Shnx, who was a Representative and the Speaker of the General Assembly, and Pluribus (GSP), another member of the General Assembly. He joined the Tennessee Valley Caucus. He voted "Aye" on the Line of Succession Act and "Aye" on the Dixie Safety, Strength, and Appropriations Act of 2025.

Term in the House of Representatives
Upon joining the House of Representatives, John was made Deputy House Majority Leader, House Whip, and Chairman of the House Ways, Means, Budgeting, and Executive Oversight Committee.

Second Term in the General Assembly
After swearing in the members of the General Assembly, which was his responsibility as Dean of the General Assembly, he was subsequently elected to the position of Speaker of the General Assembly.

It has elections to all seats every two months and its main presiding officer is the Chair, and its secondary presiding officer is the Deputy Chair. It was first known as the People's Congress from its start in February of 2018 until its 7th Session, and it is currently known as the House of Delegates as per N.134, passed on November 27, 2019.
VONC of Hagen<br/>
On March 21, 2020, Delegate Arkenstone, along with Tedd Ddet and Thanos May, motioned to Vote-of-No-Confidence, or VONC, Chair Hagen, citing his failure to record the votes upon taking the Chair position. After Arkenstone called Hagen out for originally voting against his VONC, at which Hagen changed his vote to Present. The Delegation got into a heated argument as to whether they reached 2/3, and whether or not the VONC was even constitutional. Eventually, the Delegation voted on two appeals to appeal the Chair's decision that the VONC was invalid, and they voted to VONC him again, with 4 in favor, and Hagen being the loan person against the VONC. Again, after much deliberation, Deputy Chair Ddet held nominations for a new Chair. After Ddet turned down the nomination, Thanos became Chair after a 2-0-3 vote.

The chief justice of the United States is the chief judge of the Supreme Court of the United States and the highest-ranking officer of the U.S. federal judiciary. Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution grants plenary power to the President of the United States to nominate, and with the advice and consent of the United States Senate, appoint a chief justice, who serves until they resign, retire, are impeached and convicted, or die.

The chief justice has significant influence in the selection of cases for review, presides when oral arguments are held, and leads the discussion of cases among the justices. Additionally, when the Court renders an opinion, the chief justice, if in the majority, chooses who writes the Court's opinion. When deciding a case, however, the chief justice's vote counts no more than that of any associate justice.

Article I, Section 3, Clause 6 of the Constitution designates the chief justice to preside during presidential impeachment trials in the Senate; this has occurred three times. Also, while nowhere mandated, the presidential oath of office is by tradition typically administered by the chief justice.
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is the highest court in the federal judiciary of the United States. It has ultimate (and largely discretionary) appellate jurisdiction over all federal and state court cases that involve a point of federal law, and original jurisdiction over a narrow range of cases, specifically "all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party". The Court holds the power of judicial review, the ability to invalidate a statute for violating a provision of the Constitution. It is also able to strike down presidential directives for violating either the Constitution or statutory law. However, it may act only within the context of a case in an area of law over which it has jurisdiction. The Court may decide cases having political overtones, but it has ruled that it does not have power to decide non-justiciable political questions.

Established by Article III of the Constitution, the composition and procedures of the Supreme Court were initially established by the 1st Congress through the Judiciary Act of 1789. As later set by the Judiciary Act of 1869, the Court consists of the Chief Justice of the United States and two associate justices. Each justice has lifetime tenure, meaning they remain on the Court until they resign, retire, die, or are removed from office. When a vacancy occurs, the president, with the advice and consent of the Senate, appoints a new justice. Each justice has a single vote in deciding the cases argued before it. When in majority, the chief justice decides who writes the opinion of the court; otherwise, the most senior justice in the majority assigns the task of writing the opinion.

The Court meets in the Supreme Court Building in Washington, D.C.
Recently, Left-wing politics have returned to be the dominant force in Northern Politics, with the resignation of Pepper Potts and Tedd Ddet from the Governorship and Lieutenant Governorship respectively wiping out all right-wing presence in the state entirely. In recent years it has continued to support leftist parties, most notably the Great Society Party.
The vice president of the United States is the second-highest officer in the executive branch of the U.S. federal government, after the president of the United States, and ranks first in the presidential line of succession. The vice president is also an officer in the legislative branch, as president of the Senate. In this capacity, the vice president is empowered to preside over Senate deliberations, but may not vote except to cast a tie-breaking vote. The vice president is indirectly elected together with the president to a four-year term of office by the people of the United States through the Electoral College.

The modern vice presidency is a position of significant power and is widely seen as an integral part of a president's administration. While the exact nature of the role varies in each administration, most modern vice presidents serve as a key presidential advisor, governing partner, and representative of the president. The vice president is also a statutory member of the National Security Council and thus plays a significant role in national security matters. As the vice president's role within the executive branch has expanded, the legislative branch role has contracted; for example, vice presidents now preside over the Senate only infrequently, although some recent Vice Presidents (most notably Cabin) have begun to reverse this trend.

The role of the vice presidency has changed dramatically since the office was created during the 1787 constitutional convention. Originally something of an afterthought, the vice presidency was considered an insignificant office for much of the nation's history, especially after the Twelfth Amendment meant that vice presidents were no longer the runners-up in the presidential election. The vice president's role began steadily growing in importance during the 1930s, with the Office of the Vice President being created in the executive branch in 1939, and has since grown much further, especially with the precedent set of presiding at all times set by a former vice president. Due to its increase in power and prestige, the vice presidency is now often considered to be a stepping stone to the presidency.

There is no incumbent Vice President of the United States, which has been the case since April 20th, 2026.
