The Lone Star Ranch Shootout, also known as the Lone Star Ranch Siege, was an armed exchange at the compound belonging to then-Representative Miguel Wazowski. On September 28, 2022, Agents of the House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms attempted to deliver a subpoena to Wazowski to compel his presence at the chamber. Wazowski, alongside Rosa Berry fired upon the agents, killing two and wounding two others. The shootout, while short, had massive national ramifications in the United States, leading to several high-profile trials and the outright dissolution of the Democratic Party.
