Personal Details
Political party NAL

Oliwer Stołów is the current Secretary of the Interior and Vice Chair of the NAL. He was appointed and confirmed to the position of Secretary under XRT-17, and was held over into Cabin’s administration. He was a founding member of the NAL and was a member of the First NALNC.

Personal Life

Oliwer Stołów was born in Atlanta and spent his early years in the Atlanta Metro Area. Stołów is the son of Polish immigrants and holds dual citizenship. At the age of 18, Stołów moved to Poland, where he studied and earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering. He was involved in the creation of Siedemka, a short-lived Polish car brand. After the reorganization of the US, Stołów returned to his homeland to join the political realm. He changed administrative roles in Siedemka, which soon fizzled out due to unfavorable economic conditions, sold half of his shares, and pursued an education in political science, in which he holds a bachelor's. Upon entering the US, Stołów moved initially to the North, and attempted to gain a seat in the Cabinet. Talks to do so fell apart due to then-Governor Steb's inactivity. Shortly afterwards, Stołów moved to Amarillo, where he ran a car restoration business and a rhubarb farm while studying and planning his run for office. He was married to his ex-husband in 2015, and was divorced three years later. He has no children and has held no romantic relationships since. Stołów currently resides in San Juan, PR and Washington, DC.

Political Career

Stołów was a founding member of the NAL and sat on the first NALNC. He was not elected to the second committee, but still held sway within the party. He was appointed to be Secretary of the Interior under President XRT-17, and was confirmed in the final days of his administration. President Cabin held him over into his administration, and instated Stołów into office in late November, where he remains to this day.

Stołów was elected to represent Dixie’s 7th district following a close race against the appointed incumbent member, Daniel Whitehall. Due to the razor thin margin by which Stołów was elected, Whitehall requested a recount, to which Stołów did not object. The recount confirmed Stołów’s victory, and he was sworn into the House of Representatives soon after.

Following Dushon Marshall’s resignation from the NAL, Stołów was elected caucus leader in the House of Representatives. He was elected to the NALNC during the Second Committee to replace the seat of Dushon Marshall, along with Chuck Stewart.

Stołów resigned from his seat in the House on the 13th of January, 2023, citing a lack of motivation and a need to free up the seat for a legislator who did not have other priorities.

Stołów became Party Chair on the 1st of March, 2023, following founding Chair Taylor's resignation. During his tenure he has spearheaded development of multiple public outreach routes for the party and updated the branding of the party, as well as led the party through multiple successful election cycles.

After re-election to the House, Stołów was elected minority leader of the slim NAL-coalition minority.

Involvement in Media

Stołów was the editor-in-chief and owner of Worker Power, an independent leftist magazine outputting long-form content on current events through a anti-authoritarian leftist lens. Under his leadership, the NAL began and partakes in public outreach publication on its website, NAL.com.
