Two days later and after compromises from both parties, they managed to reach a deal. The proposed merge was put up for a vote in both parties, it succeeded in the Federalist party but failed in the Conservative party with 64% voting against the merge out of 14 total voters. The Conservatives decided to reconsider the merge and after long discussions, enough people changed their vote to give the merge a majority.
