It survived some 16 months until September, 2019. While its center grew more progressive conservative and libertarian over time, as a "big tent," the party was home to centrists, conservatives, libertarians and even some on the left. Chairman [[Ronald Reagan II]], President [[Lamport]], President [[LOTR]], President [[Patty]] were among its most prominent members. Most count the end of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the abolition of the income tax, the passage of the public option popularly called "LOTRCare" and the beginning of the [[Libertarian consensus]] as the major victories of the party. Following a rise in factionalism, [[LOTRgate]] and a successful plot from within to remove Vice Chairman [[J.G.T. Webb\|Webb]] as Speaker, in coordination with the left, the National Committee voted to disband. Members then largely split into the more libertarian [[Federalist Party]] and more conservative [[Conservative Party]].
