As a mutualist, Politophile supports the predominance of employee-owned businesses and their competition within a freed market. He does not support a ban on private industry, but rather the voluntary supplantation of private industry by the working class. He supports equalizing the bargaining power of the owner class and working class through the implementation of a federal job guarantee program; the creation of equal and open opportunity in the economy through the deregulation of banking and startups and the establishment of a democratically-run federal mutual bank, of which every citizen is a member, that provides loans at low interest rates; and the destruction of the land monopoly through a citizen's dividend, funded by a land value tax, to be paid one time to each citizen once they reach the age of majority. All of this, he believes, would allow employee-owned businesses and sole proprietorships to fairly and easily emerge and compete with privately-owned businesses, and eventually overtake them.


Politophile also supports a federally-enforced living minimum wage set at the county level and progressive income tax system consisting of one flat marginal rate and a standard deduction, equivalent to the living income, which can be excluded from corporate and/or personal income taxation.

He is relatively pro-choice on abortion, but wants the government to keep abortions rare by providing quality sex education and free birth control, and only supports the legality of abortion up until the beginning of the third trimester. Politophile also believes in abolishing private prisons, legalizing all drugs on the federal level, instituting community policing, cracking down on police brutality and corruption, and abolishing capital punishment.
