Family and Personal Life
Caprese Van Tassel, commonly known as Caprese, was born in Malibu, California, Jefferson on January 21, 1998. He is the only child of Edward Van Tassel and Kate Van Tassel. In High School, he was Key Club and and was on the school swim team. He graduated from Malibu High School as salutatorian in 2016. After graduation, he went to UCLA planning to get a degree in Business Administration (MBA), aspiring to be an entrepreneur. After volunteering for a political campaign in college, he found an interest in politics. He received a bachelors in Urban Science at MIT in 1996, and a graduated with degree in law at NYU in 1999, magna cum laude. At NYU, he joined Kappa Sigma.
