History
Miner leadership
Initially, ABC was heavily right wing biased: it only had Republican party members, and the founder and owner was notorious in his partisanship. It constantly predicted elections wildly in favour of the right. Miner kept leaving and re-joining ABC, leading to short gaps in his tenure which were usually filled by Glaze.
Glaze leadership
Glaze led ABC in the short periods in-between and after Miner's leadership. His main contribution was making Justin head of ABC.
Justin leadership
Justin took over ABC on April 29th
Barch on Justin's leadership of ABC:
"Justin was the man that made ABC. He turned it around from a partisan dump to an influential organization that was widely recognized as fair and accurate, with good quality content"
Justin created multiple shows, such as the Jacob's report, welcomed Lampolling into ABC news after Lamport became president, and interviewed many people, such as Butterlands, Garland and others. He was also responsible for the hiring of Barch, who became ABC's polling and political analyst. Justin reignited activity in other members, and encouraged them to write news coverage and interview candidates for various elections.
Towards the end of 2019, ABC experienced a downturn in output from all staff. Once Barch returned to public life, he began to release much more content, and hire new staff. Justin grew more and more distant from the workings of ABC, and after ABC was barred from funding political candidates due to Justin's role in the FEC, he agreed to step down as chair.
Barch Leadership
Barch took over from Justin on May 11th, 2020, having been the 'de facto' head for a month or so. He hired SteB, who wrote very opinionated, left-wing biased pieces in contrast to previous pieces written by ABC. However, Barch welcomed the diversity in published pieces, although he did ask SteB to moderate his tone slightly.
Barch and SteB remain the largest contributors to ABC, and both publish news pieces quickly, with longtime employee ComputerGuy dropping the occasional piece.
ABC remains among the most productive and high quality news organization to this day, not to mention the oldest by over a year and some.
