Seeing an opening for his chance to advance his career, Wazowski would make the decision to challenge the incumbent Kevin, then a member of the former SDP, to his seat in DX-2. With no experience other than his short tenure in the State Cabinet, Wazowski would win his election beating out the incumbent in a close race. Wazowski would start his time off slow, passing no bills, which he would be hit on during his next run. During his first term he would find himself disgruntled with the LRP before departing and running for re-election as an independent. Beating 4 other members, he would and start his second term. During the second term he would be elected to state Speaker half way through the term after then Speaker Bo would resign to focus on his newly elected Vice President position.

His time in the cabinet would be a relatively short ride as Wazowski would get elected to the General Assembly representing Dixie's 2nd district. Joining under first term Governor and current US President Sandoval, Wazowski would have a very quiet start to the Assembly, releasing only a single bill.

Rejoining the Libertarian Party (now the Libertarian-Republican Party) Wazowski would cruise to a third win after a successful and productive 2nd term. Returning to the Assembly again, Wazowski would find himself in the majority, gaining bipartisan support for his re-election to the state Speakership. During this session, Wazowski would oversee one of the most bipartisan times in the Assembly's recent history. With the session concluding with large friendships. Wazowski would of course depart the LRP once more and remain an independent until the last few days of the Assembly where he would form the Workers' Party.


At the start of his time in the Assembly, Wazowski would begin as a Libertarian. Unsure of his true political identity and after going through issues within the party with other members, he would leave becoming an independent. One of the only independents in the Assembly, his vote became a swing vote in a primarily Libertarian dominated Assembly. Although no longer in the party, his relationship with the party would continue. Wazowski would also have a brief stint with the former [[United Left]] party that once had a hand in Dixie politics. During his time as a United Left member, Wazowski would enter for a chance to represent Dixie's 4th district in the United States House of Representatives. After his failed political campaign for United States House, Wazowski would reflect on his political future and decide to return to an independent. During this time, Wazowski's first term would come to an end and his political future would come in to question once again as he begins his campaign for re-election.
Wazowski was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal from President Bo on July 8th, 2021.


During his re-election campaign, Wazowski would not be supported or partnered with any major parties, although it can be said the [[Libertarian Party]] was silently supporting him. Defending his seat, he would take on SDP's [[Ethan Mathias]], Libertarian's Lili, former Assemblyman and independent[[John Smith]] and independent Ryan. He would win with 39% of the vote in what Wazowski has stated as his "toughest race."

During this time, the Assembly would see many changes. With then Speaker of the Assembly [[Aegeus Phoenix]] withholding the vote on an amendment to enshrine abortion rights into the constitution, the Assembly was forced to remove Phoenix in favor of Assemblyman Christian Bo. During this time, Wazowski would take a much more active role in the Assembly, being appointed Speaker Pro Tempore and releasing a slue of bills, becoming the most active in the session. During this time, the [[Dixie Secessionist Plot]], as it became know, would come to fruition throwing many prominent members of the Assembly and state cabinet into the light with accusations of attempting an overthrow in the state and leaving the union. With the Assembly immediately launching an investigation into the allegations, their report would shine light into the situation. With Wazowski deciding that then Lt Governor and Assemblyman Phoenix's role in the group being malicious, he would attempt to expel Phoenix with the support of the then United Left's Jess Reed. Losing the vote, Wazowski would suffer one of his first major defeats in his career.

Half way through this session, then Governor Omarosa Sandoval would be elected to President of the United States alongside Speaker Bo. With Bo in his new position, he decided to relinquish his post as Speaker, paving the way for Wazowski to become Speaker of the Assembly. With Christian Bo now Vice President and a vacancy in the Senate, Wazowski would see himself passed up for an appointment to the Senate by then Lt Governor turned Governor Phoenix. With the Assembly at odds with the new Governor, the remaining session was expected to be a rocky time before the unexpected resignation of Phoenix, paving the way for Governor [[Drunk]].  
Wazowski has no children but does have a pet dog named Baxter, which has been scene at the Dixie State Capitol from time to time during his tenure. Usually living a very private life and not known to post much, even on twitter, not much is known about his outside politics life.

With a seat becoming vacant in the US House of Representatives, Wazowski would take the oppurtinity to enter into the federal political spear, with the help of the Libertarian-Republican party. Wazowski would win the race, alongside a third term and final term in the Dixie State Assembly. In the Assembly Wazowski would see himself being elected to the Speakership. Leading the Assembly through a highly bipartisan time, he would be heavily remembered for his time there, working closely with Governor Drunk and ensuring maximum efficiency. Although Wazowski would see minor pushback in the manner he ran records, usually updating them periodically compared to his predecessors or in other states. As the Assembly would move into the midterms, now a member of the Libertarian-Republican party again, Wazowski would make the decision to challenge incumbent Senator Jeb to his seat for Senate. Losing in a close race, Wazowski would make the decision to retire from the Assembly after serving 3 terms.

Coming off a failed bid for Dixie Senator, losing in a tight race against then US Representative [[Jeb]], Wazowski would make the decision to once against depart the Libertarian-Republican party, citing personal differences and ideological issues with the future of the party. During this same time, the former party the [[United Left]] would see it's near collapse, with not even enough members to fill the party structure, Wazowski would invite Puerto Rican state legislator [[Ricca]] to assist in forming what would become known as the [[Workers' Party]]. Seen as the successor of the United Left, the party would see itself forming shortly after the disbanding of the United Left. With Wazowski taking a huge lead, he would be elected to the first Workers' National Council and take a major role in the early days of the party, where he still currently works now.

Michael Wazowski, commonly known as Miguel, is an African-American politician and attorney most notable for his time as the Dixie State Assembly Speaker. A current member of the Libertarian-Republican Party, Wazowski was once known for founding the Workers' Party, a far left party that existed for a short period. He has previously held positions in the United States House of Representatives and both the Dixie State Cabinet and the Federal Presidential Cabinet under both President Omarosa Sandoval and President Christian Bo.

Early Life, Education, Career (1983-2019)

Michael Wazowski was born on January 11th, 1983 in Austin, (in the then state) Texas at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center to Robert and Christina Wazowski (née Johnson). Wazowski would grow up in the typically nuclear home as an only child, facing adversity as a poor student in school.

Overcoming the challenges of his childhood, he would graduate from Travis High School while earning the famous scholarship, Presidential Scholars. With a full ride to the college of his dreams, the University of Texas at Austin, Wazowski would excel making the dean's list for 3/4 years he attended and graduating with distinction.
