Irene Taylor (born July 26, 1958) is an American educator, politician, and musician currently serving as the Secretary of Commerce and Labor. Concurrent with her national cabinet position, Taylor also serves as the United States Senate Majority Leader, as well as the assemblywoman for Dixie's fourth district and the state's Secretary of Education.

She also serves as Dixie-4's assemblywoman but, on December 16, 2022, declared that she would not seek the seat again.
