A leftist party, it is one of the two parties (as of February 1st, 2026), and is led by the Great Society Party Chair and the , which consists of 5 members including the Great Society Party Chair. It is based on the Great Society Ideals of Lyndon B. Johnson.
As of May 6th, 2026, the GSP holds a trifecta federally, with the President of the United States being a member, and them having majorities in the United States House of Representatives and in the United States Senate.
It also holds the Governor of the North, and has majorities in the House of Delegates and the General Assembly.
