Life

Early Life

John was born in the North, in the region of New Jersey. He was born to his father, Weldon Fincham, and his mother, Elizabeth Fincham. As a child, he was interested in politics, frequently doing research on the subject. While on a trip to Salem, Massachusetts, he met and befriended Knox Denbrough. In 5th grade, John moved to Dixie, specifically the region of North Carolina, due to his father having inherited Fincham Castle, which is located there. During high school, he took political science and criminal justice, along with public speaking.

College

Upon graduating high school, John moved back to New Jersey, where he attended Princeton University. While there he studied law and political science. He received the following:

Bachelor of Arts in Law;

Master's in Political Science;

After graduating from college, he moved back to Dixie, where he currently is working towards his Doctorate in Political Science at the University of North Carolina. During this time, his parents died, leaving him Fincham Castle.

Joining the Great Society Party

Upon returning to Dixie, John joined the Great Society Party. When he joined, he was reunited with Knox Denbrough, who at the time was serving as a Representative. He also, when joining, met Thanos May, who was, at the time, Speaker of the House, and Great Society Party Chair.

Political Career

In November of 2025, John announced his candidacy for General Assembly for Dixie District 2, and for Representative for Dixie District 2. He was unopposed in both.

First Term in the General Assembly

Upon joining the General Assembly, John met Mega Shnx, who was a Representative and the Speaker of the General Assembly, and Pluribus (GSP), another member of the General Assembly. He joined the Tennessee Valley Caucus. He voted "Aye" on the Line of Succession Act and "Aye" on the Dixie Safety, Strength, and Appropriations Act of 2025.

Term in the House of Representatives

Upon joining the House of Representatives, John was made Deputy House Majority Leader, House Whip, and Chairman of the House Ways, Means, Budgeting, and Executive Oversight Committee.

Second Term in the General Assembly

After swearing in the members of the General Assembly, which was his responsibility as Dean of the General Assembly, he was subsequently elected to the position of Speaker of the General Assembly. During this term, he met Joe Joe and Kelly Hoffman, as well as Andrew Blaze.

During this term, he introduced the Resolution to Ratify the Public Healthcare Amendment, which passed the General Assembly and was signed by the Governor of Dixie, the Right to Refuse Access to Immigration Officials Act of January 2026, which passed the General Assembly and was signed by the Governor of Dixie, the Dixie Public Defender Burnout Prevention Act of February 2026, which passed the General Assembly and awaits signature by the Governor of Dixie, and finally the Advanced Student Program Act of February 2026, which is currently being voted on by the General Assembly. For bills that were not his, he abstained on the Dixie Educational Curriculum Act, and voted aye on the Dixie Safety, Strength, and Appropriations Act of January 2026.
