The Bull Moose Party was a short-lived populist progressive political party, created by disgruntled members of the Popular Party out of their belief that it was "nothing more than a tool for (Popular Party leader) Lohengramm to pursue power."
The party lasted for only a week, holding internal party elections and then running in state elections. Though it attempted to convince members of the Labor Party to join them, it had a poor showing in the state elections on February 3. On February 6th, the party dissolved to join the American Liberal Coalition.

A unique feature of the Bull Moose Party was its heavy use of Press Releases, authored by the party's leader, Commander Johnsonson. Almost one press release was issued every day of the party's existence, and provide the primary historical record used for this article.
