The Bull Moose Party was a short-lived populist progressive political party, made up mostly of disgruntled members of the Popular Party, who had recently left out of their belief that it was "nothing more than a tool for (Popular Party leader) Lohengramm to pursue power."
The party lasted for only a week, holding internal party elections and then running in state elections. Though it attempted to convince members of the Labor Party to join them, it had a poor showing in the state elections on February 3. On February 6th, the party dissolved to join the American Liberal Coalition, which later became the Social Democratic Party.
