The Cabinet of the United States, including the Vice President, the Heads of the Executive Departments and others recognized as having Cabinet Rank, is a body to advise and assist the President in governing the nation. On May 6, 2019, President Lamport signed into law the Homeland Freedom and Security Act, which abolished the Department of Homeland Security and reorganized the various agencies under thereof. The bill went into effect on June 5, 2019. On November 3, 2019, President Patriot signed into law the Student's Education Act, which abolished the Department of Education, reorganized the various agencies under thereof, and gave the jurisdiction back to the states. The bill went into effect on November 6, 2019. On February 21, 2020, President Valerie signed into law the Commerce and Labor Act, which combined the Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, and the Small Business Administration into the Department of Commerce and Labor.
