The Northern State is a state comprised of the Regions of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin. Its capital is Chicago. Formerly the political home of the Communist Party, the North was recognized as being predominantly left wing, having supported the Progressive Party, the Communist Party, the Labor and later on the Social Democratic Party, before the resignation of Governor Tedd Ddet and the rise of right-wing figures such as Pepper Potts and One-Eyed Jack moved it into a toss-up state, at the current moment possessing a Libertarian-Republican Party majority in the Delegation.
