Claire Pfeiffer is an accomplished attorney and activist from Carson City currently running to represent Jefferson’s 2nd District in the House of Representatives. As a member of the Global Labour Party, she has campaigned on a platform of political progressivism and addressing the pressing issues unfolding across the United States.

Early Life and Education

Claire Pfeiffer was born in Carson City, Jefferson, on the 3rd of November 1976. She was born to Cindy Pfeiffer, a single mother who worked two jobs to support them financially whilst also saving a fund for her daughter’s future education. In her youth, the Pfeiffers lived frugally with the promise that it would soon pay off when Claire would be able to attend university and pursue a career she could be proud of.

After graduating high school, Claire was able to attend university and graduated with a degree in political science and economics. She worked as a law clerk part-time and returned to school to receive her law degree and was able to be admitted to the Jefferson Bar.

Early Career

As a lawyer in Carson, Claire took on many cases which she saw as deserving of a strong voice to represent them and to help fight for what’s right. She took on many cases pro bono to help struggling citizens who could not afford steep legal bills and did her best to give them firm and fair representation in a court of law, standing up against injustice and unfair treatment of citizens under the rule of law.

She has also been a part of many nonprofit organisations aimed at changing the political landscape and influencing lawmakers to bring about more progressive change. Claire has campaigned for policing reform and criminal justice reform in her efforts to make the country a safer and fairer place for all.

U.S. House of Representatives

As a member of the Global Labour Party, Claire Pfeiffer officially announced her campaign for the House and began to prepare for her election bid. She was chosen to represent Jefferson’s Second District and began a strong campaign using social media as a tool to mobilise the electorate.

She went up against Caprese of the Libertarians in her first-ever live debate and managed to roll with the punches and keep herself afloat despite tough questioning from opposition leaders. Claire managed to defeat her Libertarian opponent, incumbent Congressman Caprese, with 53.18% of the vote. Upon being sworn in by the Speaker of the House, Claire was appointed as House Minority Whip by Minority Leader Sysadmin.
