Jacksazzy served as Chief Justice of the United States. He is generally held in poor regard among legal scholars and his decision in Butterlands in re: Citizens United, where the Supreme Court arbitrarily rejected the legal concept of corporate personhood, is often cited by judicial nominees and others as the worst in the modern era. When he retired in May, 2018, he was succeeded as Chief Justice by Associate Justice Cody Clark.
