Meatduck (meatduck12#3741) was an American politician who served in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the Cabinet. He had leftist ideologies, being a member of the Communist Party, and later the Progressive Party. He partaked in the Second Communist Exodus.
House of Representatives
At the time, people were elected to the House on party lines. Parties owned the seats, not people. It is assumed Meatduck was elected on the Democratic line in Dixie, which was at the time known as the Southern State, and switched to the Communist Party. In the First Congress, he introduced the Warren B. Mosler Comprehensive Financial Efficiency Act in the 1st Congress, which reformed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Federal Reserve. He was re-elected in the North in April and June as a Communist, and when the party shuttered in June, he was re-elected in August on the Progressive Party line. He was elected out in October.
Cabinet
In February 2018, he was nominated by President Poke to the position of Secretary of Labor. Like other nominations, the Senate confirmed him 4-2. He didn't do much as Secretary, and was removed from office in May. A month later, President Politophile nominated him to Chair of the Federal Reserve. As Chairman, he ordered that details of all bank loan transactions to be made public. He was in this position until he left during the Second Communist Exodus.
Party Affiliations
Meatduck holds leftist ideologies. When he first entered politics, he was a member of the Green Party, but then became a member of the Communist Party. When the Communists were no longer a party, he moved to the Progressive Party. At the end of 2018, he changed back to a Communist, and because of that he left during the Exodus.
