Nashville Shooting
The Nashville Shooting was an attack on the lives of President Lamport and Speaker of the House and Dixie Governor JGT Webb. The President and Governor were hosting a joint press conference at the Governors Mansion in Nashville, Dixie on June 4th, 2019 when a gunman opened fire on the two. In the wake of the attack, President Lamport and Governor Webb were rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center and were reported to be in critical condition. In addition to the President and Governor, three members of the press were injured and taken to Vanderbilt. One individual was pronounced dead on arrival. The shooter would not be apprehended until June 28th, 2019 after an intense investigation conducted by the FBI and Justice Department. On June 28th, a comprehensive report signed by Attorney General JMP, FBI Director Matthew Chase, Attorney General of Dixie John Smith, Regional Director of the Dixie Bureau of Investigation William Steinbeck, Acting Attorney General Codegreen and FBI Special Investigator Andrew Glaze-Jones was released. Charges were filed against Noah Richter by Acting Attorney General Codegreen later that day.
