History
SEX Propane was founded in Nashville, Tennessee, DX in April of 1999 by Omarosa Johnson Sandoval III, Peter Ecklestein, and James Xavier. The three partners previously worked together at a large energy company in Dixie, with Sandoval having been the Chief Legal Counsel, and Ecklestein and Xavier being the CMO and COO respectively.
By 2009 the company had grown to be the largest propane distributor within the United States. Today, SEX Propane has annual revenue topping $3 billion, with steady growth as the company acquires competitors.
