The Second Constitutional Convention was called by the North, Jefferson and Dixie (when all had a Republican majority) and held between May 31 and June 27, 2019. Widely dismissed as an example of partisan opportunism, it only succeeded in passing the 33rd Amendment to ban the re-imposition of the federal income and estate tax. JMP, and later codegreen served as President of the Convention until the latter had it adjourn.
