At the time of its dissolution, the DPA controlled the [[House of Representatives]] (In coalition with the [[Global Labour Party]]), the Governorships of the [[North]] and [[Dixie]], and the [[Jefferson Parliament]] (In coalition with the Global Labor Party).
The DPA was the longest running party on AGS, running for a total of 526 days before dissolution. It was beat by the [[Libertarian-Republican Party]] which remains the current longest.

These five made up the original ALNC with [[James Order]] as the Director and [[John Darby]] as the Vice Director. They quickly began gaining ground in terms of membership when [[John Darby]] took a sudden leave of public life. This left [[Bruce Hill]] with the position of Vice Director. As they were gearing up for the federal elections, the ALP began making up ground converting current members of legislative bodies and winning special elections.
