Lamport is a Republican angel sent by god to bring peace, liberty and free markets to the United States. He is known to wax poetic about his first term fight to broker a cross-party compromise and pass the first balanced federal budget in 17 years: he was elected Speaker in the next Congress. During his second term, Lamport enacted financial reform, ended the requirement to print money to fund the deficit, passed a constitutional amendment to ban the draft, abolished capital punishment and asserted the right of Congress to authorize military action.

He was nominated to run against Senator NotAName in the following election and won: as Chairman, Lamport led the Republican Party to its first federal majority. In the Senate, he re-enfranchised felons who complete their sentence or parole. Lamport challenged Governor IndyPrez’s socialist “New Democratic Business Free Market Stimulus Act,” a bill he took to calling the “property theft bill,” and won in the Supreme Court: it was deemed unconstitutional and overturned. He was also nominated and confirmed as Secretary of the Treasury in the first year of his term.
