Introduction

Knox Denbrough is an American politician and activist from the Great Society Party. He has been in Major American Politics since May 2025. He is currently a Junior Senator and President Pro Tempore in the Senate, and Chair/Member of the Northern House of Delegates.

Early Life

Born in Salem, Massachusetts, on October 24, 1990, to a mother from Costa Rica, and a father from France, he attended and graduated from Salem High School with a diploma. As a teenager and into his college years, he was employed by various politicians. He attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Master’s in Political Science. Afterwards, he became a Political Consultant and activist for 10 years before deciding to run for federal office at the age of 34.

Political Career

Representative

After three failed races to the House of Representatives and the Northern House of Delegates, Knox found himself in an uncontested race and took the Oath of Office on July 16th, 2025, becoming a representative.

Knox introduced his first piece of legislation, the Small Town Resistance Act on July 19th, 2025. It was referred to DAPO by Speaker Thanos May. On July 23rd, 2025, it passed DAPO with 4 aye votes and one present vote. In the House, the STRA was debated on and passed the House of Representatives with 7 ayes, 1 present, and 3 members not voting from July 24th to 26th, 2025. It was sent to the Senate on July 26th, 2025.

Knox Denbrough served out two terms before being elected to the Senate in November 2025.

Senator

Knox was elected to the Senate in November 2025, and became a Senator and President Pro Tempore on November 13th of the same year.

Northern House of Delegates and Chair of the House of Delegates

After an uncontested Special Election, Knox took the oath of office and became a Delegate on July 31st, 2025. He was later elected Chair of the Northern House of Delegates on August 1st, 2025.

Knox was re-elected to the Delegacy and the Chairmanship on July 31st and August 1st, 2025 respectively.

After becoming Deputy Chair of the House of Delegates on October 28th, 2025, became chair again on November 13th, 2025 until November 24th and then once more on January 31st, 2026.

Political Beliefs

Knox has described himself as a Progressive, leaning Democratic Socialist. He has been an activist for Affordable Healthcare, Green Energy, Public School Funding, Immigration Reform, Gun Law Reform, Reproductive Rights, and more. He is a member of the Great Society Party, the current left-wing party.
