The Clark Court was a period of the Supreme Court during which Cody Clark was Chief Justice. It followed the Jacksazzy Court and preceded the Jet Court. Most notably, it dismissed an attempt by President Poke to subject his impeachment and conviction to judicial review and struck down two Northern laws to socialize the economy as violations of the takings clause. Overall, the Clark Court was perceived as liberal but pragmatist in terms of judicial interpretation. Cody served as Chief Justice from May, 2018 to March, 2019.
